It’s tough to call this one right now – Google is predictably tight-lipped and reports from Reuters & Co. can quote only unnamed sources. I suspect the sudden interest in this can be traced back to some of the bombshells Stephen Arnold, a veteran analyst and Google watcher dropped during a recent breakfast briefing. (We covered his observations here.) Stephen will likely be a household name once his book – Google: The Calculating Predator – hits the market. Rather than rehash what everyone else is saying – I went to the source and called Stephen in Kentucky to get his take.
